The Jews recorded much of their history, theology, lore and opinions in the Talmud. The oldest full manuscript is from 1342 and it is known as the Munich Talmud. The Church in Rome controlled much of what was published during that period and apparently tried to remove statements that they felt were negative or opposed to what they believed. This document exhibits this but through digital enhancement Dr Williams and Dr Brewer have been able to recover the apparent derogatory text which proves very interesting.
