Dr
Eben Alexander is a
neurosurgeon who would have described a
near death experience as a lack of oxygen to the brain. That is, until his life was changed by his own experience when his entire cortex was shut down by a rare attack of bacterial meningitis. In this
article he describes the sites, sounds and feeling that he experienced during this journey which changed his life. His new book Proof of Heaven will be released on Oct 23.
