A Bible Game Show on GSN

The American Bible Challenge is a new game show that premiers on GSN (Game Show Network) August 23 at 8 pm.  Jeff Foxworthy, who hosted Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader, is the game show host.  Teams will  test their Bible knowledge as they compete for their favorite charity with questions such as "When Jesus fed the 5000, how many baskets of leftover food were there?"

Want to test your knowledge?  Try some of the sample questions at http://gsntv.com/shows/the-american-bible-challenge/vip/topic/?id=1705.

It's just cool seeing people come and, within the course of an hour, win money to help change someone else's life. That's a neat thing to be a part of.  (Jeff Foxworthy)

I don't know...It's important to memorize Bible verses, the books of the Bible, the king lists, etc., but turning it into a game show seems that it would cheapen the word of God. I remember all of the games and competitions going on when I was a kid. The focus then and now was and still is head knowledge over application. Maybe I'm getting old, but the former doesn't impress me anymore.
